½ Batch of Stephanie's Paleo Vanilla Cake
½ Cup of any vanilla icing. For this recipe, Stephanie used her homemade cream cheese icing (see notes below for recipe).
2 Tsp PurColour Blue Colorant
2 Tsp PurColour Green Colorant
½ Cup Tumaco Luker Chocolate
PurColour Blue Crystal Sugar (as needed)
PurColour Green Crystal Sugar (as needed)
Bake a ½ batch of Stephanie's Paleo Vanilla Cake.
Once cool, use your hands to mix half of the cake with half of the icing (¼ cup) and 2 teaspoons of the PurColour blue colorant.
Mix the other half of the cake with the rest of the icing and 2 teaspoons of the PurColour green colorant.
Mix together 1½ teaspoons of each colored cake mix to form a globe.
Put them in the refrigerator until ready to cover in chocolate.
Melt ½ cup of Tumaco Chocolate (see recipe notes for how to temper chocolate in the microwave).
Dip the cake balls into the melted choclate and use a fork to place them on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Drizzle on some more chocolate.
Sprinkle with PurColour green and blue crystal sugar. Enjoy!
For the Paleo Vanilla Cake, just follow the linked recipe (for the cake only) and split the ingredient quantities in half to create a half batch.
To create Stephanie's cream cheese icing, mix each color with ¼ cup of cream cheese and ¾ tbsp of honey.
