Directions
Lightly spray a 12x17” pan with cooking spray.
In a heavy duty, thick bottomed pot (8 quart or larger), combine butter, sugar, glucose syrup, salt, and water.
Heat over medium heat until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved. Stir this entire time.
Increase heat to high, bring mixture to a boil and cook until temperature reaches 305°F, stirring the entire time. Turn off heat.
In this order, stir in the Orange Flavor Paste, baking soda, candied orange peel cubes and dried cranberries.
Stir gently to not “pop” all of the air created by the baking soda.
Pour onto a prepared baking sheet, and spread gently.
Cool completely. Break into pieces. Serve and enjoy, or store in an airtight container with parchment paper between layers. *See recipe notes
Recipe Note:
*Storage Instructions: Shelf life is approximately one week before the texture changes, and 4-6 before the flavor changes. Do not store in the refrigerator or freezer.
